Visa Priority Dates for July Released
The Department of State has released the Immigrant Visa Priority Dates for July, 2008.
In the Family Based Categories, the F1 category did not advance for any country. For Mexico, the F2A category became unavailable, and the F2B did not advance. For all countries, except Mexico, the F3 category did not advance. For the Philippines, the F4 category did not advance.
In the Employment Base Categories, no categories advanced. The EB3 category became unavailable.
Those categories that have become unavailable, will likely remain unavailable for the remainder of the Federal Fiscal Year, which ends on September 30th. Availability for these categories will return to the June 2008 levels on October 1st.
Categories that did not advance for July could become unavailable later in the Federal Fiscal Year.
