Visa Priority Dates for January Released
The US Department of State has released the Immigrant Visa Priority Dates for January 2008.
Most family based categories advanced. The categories that did not advance are Mexico: F1, F2A and F3; and Philippines: F3.
In the employment based categories the EB2 category for India retrogressed by 731 days to January 1, 2000. The EB2 category for China, the EB3 category for both India and Mexico, and the Other worker category for all countries did not advance. The EB3 category advanced for all countries except India and Mexico.
The Department of State is stating that the EB2 category for India could become unavailable in the next few months.
