If the family based categories, the F1 (unmarried children of US citizens), F2A (spouse and children of Green Card holders), and F2B (unmarried children of Green Card holders) for all countries except Mexico advanced. Also advancing were the F4 (siblings of US Citizens) categories for China, India, Mexico and the Philippines. All other family based categories did not advance.
In the employment based categories, visas became unavailable for the EB-2 category (Professionals/Exceptional Ability/Advanced degrees) for India. The only category that advanced was the EB3 (Skilled Worker) category, and it advanced for all countries except Mexico.
In the February Visa Bulletin, the Department of State did not provide any information as to what we can expect in the coming months.
